Who we are

Coach is an AI fitness coach that texts over iMessage, with RCS or SMS when iMessage is not available. The legal operator name and address will be added here during legal review.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store your first name, email address, and, if you typed one, your phone number. We also store the fact that you checked the iMessage and SMS consent box, and the consent sentence that was on the form. We store a hash of the network address used for that signup so we can limit repeated attempts. We do not store the address itself.

Submitting the form does not send a text or an email. We use the list to tell you when a spot opens. We will not sell this information. Logs for a failed signup do not include your name, email, phone number, or network address.

Coaching texts

If you later text the coach number, that message is the opt-in for coaching. We store the messages in the thread, including workout logs, meal notes, sleep, soreness, schedule notes, and photos you choose to send.

Photos are used to describe a meal, a workout, or an activity such as a Strava or Apple Watch screenshot, and then kept with your log. Do not send a photo you do not want stored with the coaching thread.

How we use it

We use this information to run the waitlist, send the coaching texts you opted into, remember your plan, and keep the service reliable and safe. We do not use the waitlist form to start a text conversation.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context advertising. Service providers who host the database or carry messages may process it only to run the service. Name those providers here during legal review.

How long we keep it

Waitlist rows stay until we no longer need them for early access, or until you ask us to delete them. Coaching messages stay while your thread is active. A deletion process and a retention period belong in the reviewed policy.

Stopping texts

Reply STOP and coaching texts stop. UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT do the same. You can send a normal text later if you want to start again. Stopping texts does not, by itself, delete old logs. Ask for deletion once a contact path is published.

Age

Coach is for adults. Do not join the waitlist or text the coach if you are under 18. We do not want information from children.

We will update this page when the practices change, and we will say so on this page. During legal review, add the privacy contact email and mailing address here. Until that review, do not treat this draft as the final policy.
