Terms

These terms describe the Coach beta in everyday language. They are not a finished contract.

The service

Coach is an AI coach you reach by text. There is no app to install. The service may use iMessage, RCS, or SMS. Features can change during the beta, including which texts are sent and when.

Not a real person

Coach is AI. You are not texting a human trainer. The replies are generated by software from your thread and the plan it has saved.

Not medical advice

Coach is not a doctor, a physical therapist, or any other licensed clinician. Workouts, food notes, and check-ins are general fitness information. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Check with a qualified clinician before you start or change a training plan, especially if you have an injury, a health condition, or any symptom that worries you. Stop and get medical help if you are in pain or unwell. Do not use the texts in an emergency.

Who can use it

You need to be 18 or older. You need a phone number that can receive the messages. You are responsible for the texts and photos you send.

Beta and price

Early access is free during beta. Paid plans are expected around $15 to $30 a month. We will tell you the price and get a clear yes before we bill you. Joining the waitlist does not charge you and does not start a subscription.

The beta can end, pause, or change. We may limit how many people can join.

Texts and how to stop

Coaching texts start after you text the coach number. The waitlist form does not send a text or an email.

Reply STOP to stop coaching texts. UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT work too. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to harm someone, to break the law, or to send content you do not have the right to send. Do not try to break the service or the accounts of other people. We can refuse or end a thread that misuses the service.

No Apple endorsement

Coach is an independent product. Apple does not sponsor it or endorse it. iMessage and Apple Watch are trademarks of their owner. Strava is a trademark of its owner. A screenshot you send is your own message, not a partnership with those products.

As-is

The beta is provided as-is. Texts can be wrong, late, or missing. Do not rely on them for medical decisions, safety decisions, or anything where an error could hurt you. A liability cap and warranty disclaimer should be written by counsel before launch.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date and a short note belong here after legal review. Add the support contact during that review. Until then, this draft is not the final agreement.
